Professional surf lessons

Become part of the South Swell Surf Shop community of surfers young and old, beginner to advanced by learning to surf this summer in Emerald Isle. We have been giving surf lessons since we opened our doors in 2008, and have built a community that crosses boundaries of age and skill. We have a passion to connect those who love surfing and seek to provide the know-how and support to develop the surf skills of anyone who has the courage to try!

We welcome you to join us for surf lessons with experienced instructors and on the best learning surf boards.  

Private Surf lessons are offered 7 days a week. Please note that registration needs 24 hours' notice.

Quality Surf Board Rentals

Located at 8204 Emerald Dr Emerald Isle, NC 28594. Rental surfboards are available daily year round. All surfboards are Softtop surfboards, ideal for surfers of any age or skill level.  

Rentals are available as a 4 hour or 24 hour rental.
